The anual travel card is for free, except in case it is asked for by deviation.

Travel cards permit journey extensions within the Madrid Region. Therefore, if you want to
make a journey exceeding the valid zone of the Pass, it is necessary to request the complementary
ticket from the Inspector, before arriving at the limiting station of the pass, or to purchase it
at the booking office before starting the journey.
