TYPES OF METRO AND METRO LIGERO TITLES INFORMATION

The Metro and Metro Ligero Network of the Madrid Region is made up of:

- MetroMadrid: Red de Metro network in the A fare zone at Madrid city.

- TFM: It is the line 9 section of Metro Network between the Puerta de Arganda and Arganda del Rey stations (B1, B2 and B3 zones).

- MetroSur: It is the Metro Network made up of line 12 and and Joaquín Vilumbrales and Puerta del Sur Metro stations of line 10 (B1 and B2 zones).

- MetroNorte: It is the line 10 section of Metro Network between La Granja and Hospital del Norte (B1 zone) stations.

- MetroEste: It is the line 7 section of Metro Network between  Barrio del Puerto y Hospital del Henares (B1 zone).

- ML1: It is the Metro Ligero Network line in Madrid city.

- ML2 and ML3: They are the lines of Metro Ligero Network that connect the municipalities of Pozuelo de Alarcón and Boadilla of Monte, zones B1 and B2 respectively, with Madrid (Colonia Jardín metro station, line 10).

There are different types of tickets to travel by all the Metro and Metro Ligero Network.

TO TRAVEL IN THE WHOLE METRO AND METRO LIGERO NETWORK

Combined 1 trip ticket: Valid for a single journey across the Metro and Metro Ligero network of the Community of Madrid, in any passage and any day of the week.

Combined 10 trips ticket: Valid for 10 journeys across the Metro and Metro Ligero network of the Community of Madrid, in any passage and any day of the week.

Blue Card: Allows an unlimited number of trips in the period chosen in EMT, MetroMadrid and ML1 services.

TO TRAVEL JUST IN

METROMADRID AND ML1

Single Ticket Metromadrid and ML1: Valid for one journey between Metromadrid and ML1 stations, any day of the week.

10 trip Metrobús and ML1 ticket: It allows to make 10 trips between stations of the Metro and ML1 network inside the zone A of Madrid and in the EMT buses network.

METROSUR

Single Ticket Metrosur: Valid for one journey between MetroSur stations, any day of the week.

10 trip MetroSur ticket. It allows to make 10 trips in any journey between stations of the MetroSur network.

TFM

Single Ticket TFM: Valid for one journey between TFM stations, any day of the week.

10 trip TFM ticket: It allows to make 10 trips in any journey, between the 5 stations of the section of line 9, included between Puerta de Arganda and Arganda del Rey.

METRONORTE

Single Ticket MetroNorte: Valid for one journey between MetroNorte stations, any day of the week.

10 trip MetroNorte ticket: It allows to make 10 trips in any journey between stations of the MetroNorte network between La Granja, La Moraleja, Marqués de la Valdavia, Manuel de Falla, Baunatal, Reyes Católicos and Hospital del Norte stations.

METROESTE

Single Ticket MetroEste: Valid for one journey between MetroEste stations, any day of the week.

10 trip MetroEste ticket: It allows to make 10 trips in any journey between stations of the MetroEste network between Barrio del Puerto, Coslada Central, La Rambla, San Fernando, Jarama and Hospital del Henares stations.

ML2 AND ML3

Single Ticket ML2: Valid for one journey between ML2 stations, any day of the week.

Single Ticket ML3: Valid for one journey between ML3 stations, any day of the week.

10 trip ML2 and ML3 ticket: It allows to make 10 trips between any station of the ML2 or ML3 network. The passages between a ML2 station and another one of ML3 or vice versa are considered two trips to fare effects.

TO TRAVEL FROM/TO THE AIRPORT

Special Service tickets to Aeropuerto T-1 T-2 T-3 and Aeropuerto T-4 stations. With the Travel Card, Tourist Travel Pass and AENA card, it is not necessary to pay this special fare..

Single Ticket Metro+Extra charche: Valid for one journey between MetroMadrid stations (A zone), and Aeropuerto T-1 T-2 T-3 and Aeropuerto T-4 stations.

Combined Metro Ticket+Extra charche: Valid for one journey between any MetroMadrid, MetroSur, MetroNorte, MetroEste and TFM stations, and Aeropuerto T-1 T-2 T-3 and Aeropuerto T-4 stations.

Airport Surcharge Ticket: Valid to the entrance and exit in Aeropuerto T-1 T-2 T-3 and Aeropuerto T-4 stations for travellers with a MetroMadrid ticket (Single Ticket Metromadrid, 10 trip Metromadrid or Metrobús ticket and Combined Metro ticket).

TO TRAVEL IN ALL KIND OF TRANSPORTS

In order to travel in all kind of transports you can use the Travel Card or the Tourist Travel Pass. It is important to make sure that the fare zone of your card or pass allows you to accede to the Metro System in your origin station and to leave in your destination.

WHERE CAN YOU BUY THE TITLES?

You can buy all type of single tickets, 10 trip and combined at the Ticket offices and Automatic machines in all Metro stations.

You can also buy the 10 trip MetroMadrid or MetroBús in Tobacconist's and  Newsagent's at Madrid city.
