Tourist Travel PassThe Tourist Travel Pass is a personalized transport pass, which entitles the holder to make an unlimited number of trips, using the public transport system operating within a chosen zone, with the indicated exceptions.

Tourist Travel Pass Coupon To use the pass, its holder must carry a ticket with the valid zone and time period. The ticket must also contain the passenger identification number (from Identification Card, Passport, etc), written on it at the time of purchase. Any ticket without this information will be invalid.

  • Transport Consortium Offices
  • All Metro stations
  • Metro Passenger Information Office, in Aeropuerto T1-T2-T3 metro station
  • Certain: tobacco shops, and Press Kiosks
  • Municipal Tourist Offices (Plaza Mayor, 27)
  • Regional Tourist Offices in Madrid (C/ Duque de Medinaceli, 2 and Estación de Atocha - Vestíbulo del AVE)
  • National and International Tour operators
  • Spanish travel agencies and hotels in the city

Zone Map for the Tourist Travel Pass, Zone A and Zone TAccording to the validity, there are five types of Tourist Travel Passes: for 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7 natural days.

According to the age, there are two types: normal and children.

Two different zones have been established: zone A and zone T.

Zone A passes have the same limits as the regular fare zone A and correspond almost entirely with the Madrid city limits.

Zone T covers the entire area where Travel Passes are valid.

FlechaVALIDITY

A Tourist Travel Pass is valid for the number of natural days stated on the ticket, starting on the date of its first use. At that time, the expiration date will be printed on the ticket back. In all cases, it will have validity on night service until 5 a.m. of the expiry date.

Zone A Tourist Travel Passes can be used on:

  • All Metro lines inside the zone.
  • All EMT lines.
  • All RENFE¹, Suburban Train stations inside the zone.
  • Light Rail ML1.

Zone T Tourist Travel Passes, in the addition to the above, can also be used on:

  • All Metro lines.
  • All lines of Regular Passenger Public Transport by road.
  • All RENFE¹, Suburban Train lines.
  • Light Rail ML2 and ML3 and Parla Tramway.

(1) All travel passes are not allowed to travel in Regional Trains.

Taking into account, exceptions that could be stated by the Transport Authority.

FlechaBLUE CARD

It is a monthly travel card, with unlimited use of the EMT services, Metro de Madrid (Area A) and Light Rail Madrid (ML-1). The Blue Card is for older people and people with disabilities who meet certain economic requirements.

The Blue Card is a personal title, which consists of a card certifying, with photo and identification of the owner, and a monthly coupon. Its validity is limited and must be renewed when their conservation status can not allow the control or for decision of the CRTM.

To qualify for this card must also meet these requirements:

Tarjeta Azul- Be registered in the municipality of Madrid.

- Belong to one of the following categories:

  • Over 65 years.
  • Retired because of age, severe disability, or permanent disability.
  • Spouses or partners of beneficiaries by age or retirement.
  • People with disabilities (degree of disability of 33% or higher).
  • People rated as dependents.

- No individual total income received by more than the indicator Public Multiple Effect Income (IPREM).

In any of the situations described above, and in the case of people with dependents other than spouses, the income limit for being eligible to consider amending, depending on the number of dependents.

For the Blue Card must be submitted supporting documentation requirements, with a passport size photograph, in one of the Oficinas de Atención al Ciudadano de Línea Madrid, by prior arrangement through 010. If the person does not attend personally, the applicant must bear the appropriate authorization and a photocopy of identity card.

FlechaUNIVERSIDAD DE ALCALÁ CARD

It is valid for travel between Guadalajara and Alcala de Henares University and among the campus of the University, because its use is exclusively for students and workers, in companies Renfe and Continental Auto. To use it you must:

Apply for Card Payment: You must file a form, available at the Faculty Secretary in which you studies, with your personal data, along with:

  • Recent color photograph, passport size, with the name written on the back of it.
  • Photocopy of identity card, passport or marriage certificate and submit the original for verification.

Acquire the Coupon: you have to deliver the bank receipt, attesting the payment made in any entity of Banco Santander, in the Secretary of the Faculty in which you study.
