The S.I.T. System includes a high-powered, sofisticated algorithm for immediate calculation of the best path between any two RENFE Suburban Train Stations.

On the following pages, the System will ask you to provide the necessary information (origin and destination stations, time and date at which you wish to travel) to make the required calculation.
At any time, you can go back to correct a mistake or, alternatively, to make a new calculation based on different criteria.

The algorithm employed is dynamic, that is, it automatically uses the train schedules for the time period specified.

The screen displaying the recommended path between any two RENFE train stations follows:

Origin suburbal rail station choice will be made by selecting from the suburban train station list
So, Destination suburbal rail station choice will be made by selecting from the suburban train station list

If a prior inquiry has been made during the same session, the starting and destination stations specified during the previous inquiry are retrieved for this one.
One can select the present date or one of the five days immediately subsequent thereto.
After the starting station, the destination station and the desired conditions have been selected, the calculation will be made by pressing , and the possible solutions recommended are displayed on the screen listed by the earliest time of arrival.

The time of departure and of arrival, the total travel time and the transfer time are displayed for each solution.

In turn, the diagram of each solution , the trip fares and all of the available timetables can be displayed on the screen.
The diagram of the solution is displayed in the form of a set of stages to be covered from origin station to the destination station. For each stage, the departure and arrival times, the starting and ending stations, the estimated travel time, and the point of destination of the line to be taken are all displayed on the screen.

Selecting the fares option, the single ticket fare for each type of day, the ten trip train travel ticket fare and the monthly ticket fare for the selected solution are displayed.

Selecting the timetables option, the available timetables for each stage to be covered for the selected solution are displayed.

At any time, the user can start a new inquiry by pressing the button Previous
